National Legal expert (Team Leader: 50 workdays
National expert on Biodiversity/ABS (Team member 1: 45 workdays)
National expert on Traditional Knowledge (Team member 2: 45 workdays)

This aims at building critical synthesis and analysis on the successes and failures (or short-comings) given to ABS institutionalization and implementation in Vietnam, and based on that, providing specific revisions to strengthening the country’s existing ABS legal frameworks, particularly Decree 59/2017/ND-CP and Biodiversity Law 2008, and competence in order to secure the country’s full respect and address to the CBD’s Nagoya Protocol and other international commitments for biodiversity conservation, development and sustainable use. The selection will be on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations. Procurement Notice with enclosed TOR and evaluation criteria are in the attached files.
