We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:
Vacancy: Consultant to conduct training for primary and secondary teachers on using health and nutrition education material in extra curriculum activities
Location: Lao Cai
Consultant’s responsibilities:
The consultant, who is engaged in this consultancy service, is expected to:
- Deliver two 3-day training courses - one for primary school teachers and one for lower secondary school teachers on using the document “Health and nutrition education material in extra curriculum activities” in the impact area;
- Write a report on the training courses with recommendations for follow-up actions in the target schools, districts and province, including capacity building for teachers and education partners.
Main competencies required
The consultants should demonstrate:
- Relevant expertise on on Education and/or Health and Nutrition.
- Experience in providing similar training in similar context (local health staff or teachers in mountainous area)
- The trainers having master degree and at least 5 years of experience in a relevant discipline
- English language skills
Quality Control
The consultants are responsible for the quality of the service. Save the Children aims to engage well-qualified consultants who have proven track record of quality work, and Save the Children expects all assignments to be professionally conducted. Save the Children will work with the selected consultants to ensure that, as far as possible, all assignments are completed to a high standard. The primary responsibility for making sure a high standard is achieved, as agreed, rests with the consultants themselves.
