- Work with internal stakeholders to refine, operationalize and manage office-wide planning framework
- Develop, implement and institutionalize processes to ensure OGIP products are made available through key channels (intranet, website, newsletter, etc) in a logical, standardized manner to maximize their reach.
- Develop tools and reports to track results and output based on investment and input
- Contribute to the design and delivery of the projects management practice to leverage the diversity of skillsets in the office and encourage collaboration
- Propose and coordinate necessary exchanges and meetings to set timelines towards the delivery of “monthly highlight” projects
- Organize retrospectives and evaluation meetings to support monitoring, evaluating and learning practices, and the refinement of the office’s projects model
- Monitor dashboard and support planning framework by flagging capacity gaps and surge needs
- Develop tools and processes that’ll help drive unit’s work within OGIP and UNICEF.
- Organize meetings, take notes, and follow up to ensure timelines are set and met.
- Develop internal communication systems and channels to improve Unit and Office-wide flow of information.
- Where necessary, assign and coordinate consultants deployed for particular projects.
- Source, build and update lists with key internal and external stakeholders for OGIP communications and partnerships
- Work with Chief of Staff to prioritize and monitor SEU capacity deployment
- Coordinate prioritization for all-staff and Management Team meetings, helping set agenda, and act on both necessary preparations and follow through.
- Gather and/or write notes for key internal meetings.
- Support knowledge management strategy and backend architecture for resources
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, social science or a relevant field
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management, planning, organizational design and/or corporate strategy development.
- Significant experience as a project manager and demonstrated ability to deliver on complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with strategy and execution of internal and external engagement functions such as in campaigns, communications, design, or partnerships/coalition
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills; meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines with a commitment to quality.
- Ability to use and/or adopt UNICEF’s corporate tools and software in order to develop strategies and deliver tasks (such as Microsoft suite, SharePoint, Mailchimp,…)
- Experience in making decks to present information to specific internal audiences is an asset.
- Experience facilitating, designing and executing participatory meetings and events online is an asset
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
- Monthly payment, based on monthly tasks and progress reports, approved upon monthly review with supervisor.
- Consultant is responsible for his/her own health and travel insurance
- Consultant is eligible for standard DSA for all work-related travel
