Program Assistant


Artistri Sud is Looking for 2 Program Assistants: Are you a dynamic and energetic individual who is looking for a new exciting challenge working with a Canadian NGO? If so, this could be a great experience for you! Artistri Sud is currently looking for two Program Assistants. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic individual who is committed to women’s empowerment and to making a difference for others. Program Assistant - Data Collection Job responsibilities:
  • Collect data and track information during the entire length of the program
  • Take notes and observe the lessons, paying attention to participants reactions to different lessons/activities
  • Take pictures of activities and participants
  • Collaborate with the other program assistant to ensure smooth delivery of the training program. The program assistant must be flexible and willing to take on different tasks and responsibilities as they might arise.
  • Liaise with suppliers and facilities, negotiate with hotel management (make sure wi-fi is working, that meals are ready at the right time, etc.)
  • The program assistant must be present for the entire length of the program, including meals and overnight stays. Teaching hours run from 9 am to 9 pm, but you will be expected to meet before and after to debrief and plan with the training team.
  Requirements:
  • High level of organizational capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • High energy, personable, and willingness to work long, rewarding hours while staying enthusiastic and maintaining a positive attitude
  • Self-starter with drive, problem solving skills and flexibility – things can change on the ground and you may need to support decision-making on the fly!
  • Native speaker in Vietnamese and fluent in English
  Nice to have:
  • Experience working and/or living with underprivileged women with little or no formal education
  • Any knowledge of Hmong-Dao language will be considered an asset
