We are looking for committed, result-driven candidate for the position of Data Management Senior Officer, “Saving the Saola from the brink of extinction” project, based in Ha Noi, Hue, Quang Tri or Quang Binh (Ha Noi is preferred)
Major Functions:
Under the overall direction and supervision of the Wildlife Practice Lead, and with support from the Wildlife Practice Technical Advisor and IUCN Saola National Coordinator for Vietnam, the Project Manager is responsible for project overall management to ensure high quality of the project deliverables to achieve its objectives and goal. This position will manage development and implementation of the project working plan and M&E system; oversee grant/subcontract mechanisms with project implementing partners; and ensure effective collaboration between WWF and key project stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor/ (preferably masters) on biology, nature resources management, environmental management, or relevant fields.
- Qualification in project management; working experience with WWF projects is an asset.
- Proven experience and proficiency in biodiversity conservation including proven success with researches and surveys of wildlife species (preferably including large mammals such as Saola, serow, or muntjac).
