OBJECTIVES: MOBILIZATION: Mobilizing caring power, investment, and good practice for social impact SOLUTION: Providing the stop and comprehensive and effective solution services to improve sustainable lives in (1) Education for Development; (2) Income Mobility; and (3) Environmental health DEVELOPMENT: Advocating for enabling environment/ecosystem for sustainable development Expected results: In 2021 – 2025 MSD focuses its efforts and resources on their main areas of results as the followings: B. ASSIGNMENT REQUESTS: 1. Assignment purpose: The Program Officer (PO) will, with the assistance of the team, support MSD Leadership to manage and execute MSD’s programs/project activities. 2. Working location: mainly in Hanoi and possible travels to project sites in Dong Anh, Bavi, Hanoi, Hoa Binh, Hung Yen, Lao Cai, Ha Tinh, Hue, Quang Tri, Danang, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Travinh and Hochiminh city and some other provinces and countries when assigned. The travel fee and perdiem will be under MSD’s cost norm system. 3. Job assigned manager and technical supporter: direct report to and be supported/coached by Program manager and or Program Director; 4. Supervision: Communication and event officers, project assistants Interns, Volunteers. 5. Main responsibilities: – Management and operation: Managing and or implementing projects/programs of MSD throughout project/program management cycle (design, develop plan, coordinating the implementation, monitoring and evaluation). The main tarted audiences are children, youth, women and vulnerable groups (ethinic minority, people with disabilities, migrant workers). The main assigned projects for this posts in 2021 – 2022 are but not limited to:

Project “Safer city for girls and women”: coordination the project’s research, communication and advocacy on prevention of girls and women’s abuse and harassment as well as gender-based violence (https://msdvietnam.org/en/project-safer-cities-for-girls-in-hanoi/)
Project Safe School Zone: coordinate the project on building Safe School Zone for children from traffic accidents
Project Shinhan Square DynaGen - Live United: coordinate the project on developing personal and cooperation capacity, leadership quality of young people and connecting youth (https://livinglabvietnam.org/vi/initiatives/chinh-thuc-mo-don-dang-ki-chuong-trinh-dynagen-live-united/ )
Projects on promoting youth role in SDGs and promoting children and youth in promoting gender equality

– Contact person of MSD in GBVNet; – Coordinate the Youth Leader network of MSD; – Support event organization and communication of MSD in general – Document the project and provide updates/ communication for projects in charge 6. Work plan: Workplan of MSD strategy 7. C. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS – BA degree is required with a background relating to management, communication or social works; a master degree is a plus; – Experience in project management is needed; experience in NGO is preferred; – Children rights and gender equality knowledge and experience is an advantage; – Strategic thinking and analysis; Good planning and note-taking skills, research and data analysis skill is preferred; – High command of communication and presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English; – Work independent and professionally; good teamwork; – High commitment to works.
