MASSEI is currently seeking applicants for researcher(s) as below:
- Location: Hanoi
- Type: Full-time
- Starting date: As soon as possible.

1. Senior Researcher
Job description
- To develop research ideas, concept notes, research proposals, and designs for socio-economic studies and consulting projects;
- To manage, coordinate, and participate in the implementation of research and consulting projects, including the design of study protocols, data collection, analysis, report writing, and dissemination of results;
- To collaborate with other team members and communicate with relevant stakeholders, such as clients, partners, and collaborators, to ensure projects are completed on time and with the highest quality;
- To produce research reports;
- To manage and expand the network of experts;
- Other tasks are assigned when necessary.
Qualifications
- Hold a Master's Degree in Economics and related fields. A Ph.D. in Economics and other related disciplines is a plus.
- Proficient in the implementation of socio-economic research projects.
- Strong analytical skills and leadership;
- Excellent command of English and Vietnamese;
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently;
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork.
2. Research Assistant/Junior Researcher
Job description:
- To assist researchers in drafting proposals and designing socioeconomic research and consulting projects;
- To conduct and assist senior researchers in conducting research and consulting projects, including data gathering, data analysis, report writing, and dissemination;
- To work with other team members and aid researchers in communicating with project stakeholders, such as clients, partners, and collaborators;
- Other tasks are assigned when necessary.
Qualifications
- Have Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Development Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, and other related fields.
- Excellent command of Vietnamese;
- Good at academic writing skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
