Local Internship (Operations/ Admin Support)

The American National Red Cross (AmRC) Vietnam Delegation currently seeking for an enthusiastic Local Intern (Operation/Admin Support) to assist the transition plan of Vietnam Country Office.
The position will be based in the AmRC Vietnam Delegation office in Hanoi and will report to the Country Business Operation Lead of AmRC Vietnam. The successful candidate is expected starting from March 2023 and with the end date no later than 30 Sep 2023.
II. Responsibilities
2.1. General office tasks
- Assist in booking and coordinating travel arrangement for AmRC expats, visitors and Delegation staff (including visas, air-tickets, accommodation and other arrangements);
- General secretarial work as drafting, translating documents/letters, photocopying and filing;
- Assist in getting quotations for procurement of good/service for office/project, prepare purchase orders, supporting documents for contracting process;
- Support in checking inventory, coding assets, ensuring service provider tracker updated and recorded;
- Assist in organizing meetings/ events (including equipment setting up/connection, preparing slides and presentations, taking minutes);
- Other administrative supports as required.
2.2. Support for transition/close-out plan
- Re-arrange the necessary business operation/finance documents both physical and electronic for compliment by printing, scanning and uploading to the Office shared Cloud;
- Prepare the documents and paperwork for close-out procedures as required;
III. Qualifications
- Bachelor in Business Administration, Economics, Hospitality, English or similar degree are preferable (applicants those are undergraduate waiting for bachelor degree are acceptable);
- Experience not required but preferable (voluntary/social activities or part-time experience);
- Good English skills and fluent in Vietnamese.

V. Competencies
- Good planning, well organizing skills;
- Ability to work effectively within a team or individual with positive attitude; high degree of punctuality;
- Good communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint);
- Motivation and strong desire to learn and take on new challenges;
- Patient personality and high responsibility;
