Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) is the economic representation of the Flemish Region of Belgium abroad. The main task of Flanders Investment & Trade is to support Flemish companies exporting to Vietnam and Vietnam-based companies seeking to locate in Flanders.

About the project

Mid-September we are receiving a high-level business delegation led by the Minister-President of Flanders. We will organise seminars and arrange bespoke B2B meetings for the participating companies.

Job description

Flanders Investment & Trade is looking for an assistant to the Head of Office (M/F) for its office in Hanoi for 3 months. We‘re looking for a reliable, hands-on colleague who wants to be part of our team from June onwards.

Main tasks

Assisting the Trade & Investment Counsellor in daily business operations.
Identifying companies and contact details of Vietnamese companies that can partner up with Belgian companies.
Arranging and scheduling B2B meetings.
Providing support to the team in the practical organisation of the various events during the mission.
Reporting to the Trade & Investment Counsellor.
Undertaking other duties as assigned.

Required skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certificate from an university, ideally specialised in economics or trade.
Very good command of written and spoken Vietnamese and English (will have to report back in English).
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
Good knowledge of Microsoft environment and applications (MS Office, CRM Dynamics,...)
Ability to manage the required tasks, schedule appointments and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail, conscientious and willingness to learn.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Working experiences in international organiations/companies.

A monthly gross salary of 1.000 USD.
