ENV - Education for Nature Vietnam or Vietnam National Center for Education for Nature is a Vietnamese nature conservation organization, established in 2000. ENV's goal is to prevent the extinction of wildlife species by working to end illegal hunting and wildlife trade in Vietnam.

📌Mô tả công việc

The Communications officer is responsible for developing and carrying out the activities of ENV’s communications and public awareness program (CPA). This position entails responsibility for delivering specific outputs and maintaining ENV communications systems.
Coordinate ENV’s specific campaigns with the media, hosting press conferences and media workshops
Produce regular media statements on key issues in collaboration with other departments to Vietnamese audiences, especially journalists
Manage and promote ENV messaging to Vietnamese audiences through a range of viral and social media communications channels including distribution lists, Facebook, and other mechanisms
Maintaining ENV’s VN-EN websites
Coordinate the development, production, and effective release of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) on TV
Work with multiple stakeholders to develop and produce other ENV resources
Prepare monthly reports and associated reporting requirements

📌Yêu cầu công việc

University degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, or Marketing; from 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
Ability to pay attention to details and take initiative
Excellent communication skills both in Vietnamese and English language written and verbal communication
Outward character and diplomatic skills
Open-minded and can easily adapt to ENV’s non-traditional way of working
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of conservation issues, especially demand reduction campaigns (preferred)
Computer literacy: Word, Excel
Experience in website development, graphic design and visual communication skills are advantageous
