Program Coordination (LightHouse)

Background:

Hai Dang Social Enterprise was established and operated since 2016 as a pioneering organization in implementing activities to promote inclusion, equality and health for the LGBTI+ community and the community of people affected by HIV. We focus on education, community communication on health and equality, conduct community-led research, promote participation and voice for community issues, build capacity of key members and connect the community. The organization operates two key program groups including LGBTIQ+ and Public Health. Of these, the Health program subgroup accounts for a larger proportion of resources, with differentiation into specific streams such as HIV/AIDS, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Harm Reduction, and Mental Health. Our activities are extremely diverse, including communication, raising social awareness, educating health knowledge for the community, providing support and health care services, implementing research on prominent community issues, advocating and contributing to policies and laws related to the LGBTIQ community, building capacity for community organizations and community health workers, promoting the health system and connecting community progress.

Detail Informations:

Location: Program Coordination
Estimated start time: From October 2024 or according to candidate's time
Work location: Hai Dang Social Enterprise Office - 15&15A Lane 98 Vu Trong Phung, Hanoi
Working time: Full time, 9:00 – 17:30 from Monday – Friday

Recruitment criteria:

University degree in Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology, Development (or related fields);
Experience in a similar position (or at least 2 years in a Project Management position);
Have a long-term commitment to the Organization;
Ability to manage and lead multiple teams working at the same time and promote team spirit;
Passionate about promoting equality and health equity for the LGBTIQ community.

Pritoritize:

Good English skills in all areas;
Ability to work independently, self-study and work in a team;
Candidates from the LGBTI+ community.

Salary:

Competitive salary negotiated directly with candidate;
Probationary period of 02 months. Salary during probation period is equivalent to 85% of starting salary;
Opportunity to earn additional income from suitable consulting positions for partners (depending on expertise and experience).
