Summary: The work schedule for this position is: Full Time 44 hours per week
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within 90 days of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

May have in country travel over the weekends. Alternate as duty driver meaning a rotating shift and must be prepared for changes in routine at a moment’s notice. May work long hours of overtime during visits.
Duties
Incumbent of this position will operate passenger vehicles to deliver passengers and materials. The incumbent will be expected to operate a small bus or similar in comparison to carryall on a regular run one or more times a day and perform other related duties as directed. S/he will be under the direct supervision of the Marine Detachment to whom primary duties are assigned. Secondary supervision provided by the Motor Pool Supervisor.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: At least two years of experience as a driver is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Must:
- Be able to operate and maneuver large passenger vehicles/trucks through the streets of Hanoi.
- Know how to perform minor maintenance on passenger vehicles such as changing a tire and replacing a battery.
- Be knowledgeable of host country traffic laws, city traffic patterns, streets, locations of major buildings and government offices.
Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school (grade 12) is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:
Level 2 (limited knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. (This will be tested.)
Level 2 (limited knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing Vietnamese is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have Vietnamese driver’s license valid for both passenger vehicles and trucks (Vietnamese category D driver's license or higher).

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
