Request for Expression of Interest – Assessment on 2019 Social Health Insurance ARV (Antiretroviral) Drug Supply

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Chemonics International Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Chemonics”), under the USAID Global Health Supply Chain – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) is issuing a Request for expression of interest for an assessment on “2019 Social Health Insurance ARV (Antiretroviral) drug supply”.

The purpose of the GHSC-PSM project is to ensure uninterrupted supplies of health commodities in support of USG-funded public health initiatives around the world. In Vietnam, the project provides direct procurement and supply chain management support to the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). In supporting USG-funded global health activities, GHSC-PSM will develop and manage a wide array of services for health commodity procurement and related systems strengthening technical assistance encompassing different elements of a comprehensive supply chain.

At the country level, GHSC-PSM supports country strategies and priorities that fall under the following three project objectives:

• Global Commodity Procurement and Logistics
• Systems Strengthening Technical Assistance
• Global Collaboration to Improve Long-Term Availability of Health Commodities.

The GHSC-PSM plans to support the Vietnam Administration of HIV/AIDS Control (VAAC) to do an assessment on 2019 Social Health Insurance ARV (Antroviral) drug supply. The illustrative period of performance will be August 21, 2019 to December 31, 2019 tentatively.

The GHSC-PSM invites consulting firms/organizations to express its interest in this subcontracting. The consulting firms/organizations are required to have at least 3 years working in the health area (preferred in HIV/AIDS control) and minimum 3 assessments related to health system with similar scale (assessment related to drug supply is a plus). The Request for Proposal will be sent to consulting firms/organizations which express their interest. Deadline for expression of interest and proposal submission is 5.00pm, August 5, 2019.
