Agriterra (www.agriterra.org) is a Dutch agency that aims to professionalize farmers' organizations and cooperatives worldwide, with advice from experts from the Dutch agricultural sector. Agriterra’ s opinion is that strong farmers’ organizations and cooperatives lead to more participation, economic growth and a better distribution of income. Agriterra focus on economic development and work closely together with the Dutch agribusiness.
Tan Minh Duc (TMD) Coop was established in 2014 in Pham Tran commune, Gia Loc district, Hai Duong province. The coop is supplying safety vegetable to the supermarkets and wholesale market in the North of Vietnam. Currently total of arable area is 27ha with 168 household members. Besides above agricultural land, the cooperative has also rented 11ha for winter season. The cooperative is also providing input supply such as fertiliser, pesticide, seedling and technology transfer to their members.
In July 2019 TMD has been selected to become Agriterra client. One of the 2020 Action Plan is helping TMD to produce a video clip to promote the Coop activities with focus on VIETGAP Safe vegetable product to increase customers understanding of coop production chain, product quality - the vital factor in safe vegetable production. TMD is looking for an experienced and qualified film maker to produce 3-4 minutes video clip to promote TMD and its product, please refer to attached TOR for further information.
