JOB SUMMARY
The Academic Manager will be responsible to assist the Head of Academic & Professional Programs (Program) in planning, preparing, delivering and monitoring quality events that will ensure engagement of the participants and facilitate the completion of business objectives. She/He will manage certain academic aspects of VIOD according to the delegation of the Head of Academic and Professional Programs..
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Implement to uphold values and operation system of VIOD in general and in academic activities in particular
- Processing the technical and professional training and event procedures
- Assist the Head of Academic & Professional Programs to prepare the periodical academic plan annually; to prepare, review and control quality of training curriculum for particular programs
- Coordinate with facilitators, lectures and invited guest speakers for the assigned programs to ensure the quality of materials and develop training materials (slides, handouts, reading materials, case study…) as required of the programs.
- Manage the program/courses conduction as assigned fully and accountably
- Responsible for program evaluation and report to Management & AAC as required
- Provide technical input for non-GEP (e.g. GAP, Director’s Talks, Annual Forum)
- Take part in preparation of the academic articles to promote CG, ESG and programs
- Provide academic & professional support for research programs as required
- Vietnamese Citizen with knowledge about CG/ESG and ability to communicate in English (both written and spoken)
- Well-organized with event coordination and problem-solving skillset to plan and organize aprofessional training program.
- Have independent mindset at work and collaborate with team members
- Have ability and capability to deliver a part of technical topic to participants who are at director level (Member of the Board of Directors)
- Computer literacy (MS. Office, Outlook, e-mail, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to handle stress and remain calm.
