Gravity Water is a US-based 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization focusing on turning rain into safe water for schools in need. Gravity Water is seeking an Accountant for Gravity Water Vietnam to assist the Gravity Water Operations Team in developing, implementing, and scaling the Organization’s clean water projects in the region. The Accountant will report to the direct Manager/Director and be part of a supportive and professional team of passionate individuals dedicated to making clean water accessible to communities in Vietnam.

This position focuses on two primary objectives:

(1) Responsible for producing financial Reports according to Vietnamese Law.

(2) Responsible for all Tax related matters

Responsibilities

Essential job responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain Records of all expenditures related to Projects activity, keeping them transparent and up-to-date and always ready for accessibility
• Be responsible for the preparation of all reports and status of finances to the Director
• Accountable for producing financial and Tax reports timely according to the Law.
• Othe task as directed by the Direct Manager.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Vietnamese Citizen
• University degree/College degree in Finance/accounting
• Hold a CPA is preferred
• Proficiency in using Office tools, Accounting software

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience using Google Drive
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team and independent skills
• Experience working in community development or social work, preferably in NGO or NPO
• Good command of English is encouraged.

Salary

The position’s salary will be discussed during the interview.
