Administrative Intern (UNDP)

Duties and Responsibilities

For FU:
  • Support with administrative and logistic tasks of recruitment cases
  • Support with ensuring email lists, ground passes, and desk registrations are updated and renewed timely
  • Support with updating organigrams and personnel information
  • Support with various office events and surveys (retreat, all-staff meeting…) under guidance
For HRU:
  • Provide support to project management and project team to undertake M&E requirements, workplans, annual reports etc. to ensure consistence management of targeted narrative and impacts indicators of changes, performance, beneficiaries, areas etc. and to ensure compliance of SES/safeguards (gender, ethnic minorities, stakeholders engagement).
  • Support thematic coordination of cross-cutting activities, including baseline assessments, gender assessment, thematic planning (e.g.
  • Gender action plan) - with various agriculture relevant indicators, promoting synergies and coherence among the project components and activities (resilient house, risks mapping etc.). Ensure synergies and coherence between KVPVP project in general and Outcome 2 in particular and on-going/future climate change adaptation, climate resilient agriculture and agribusiness initiatives to bring about larger benefits and impacts.
  • Advise and provide substantive inputs to the project team and partners to enhance knowledge management to promote and experiment innovative approaches on sustainable agriculture development, climate resilience and community development.
  • Actively participate and contribute of technical inputs and practical expertise to the relevant projects on the topics of climate responsive agriculture, value chain/agribusiness.

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants to the UNDP internship programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements:
  • Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master’s programme, or higher);
  • Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent);  
  • Have recently graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation;  
  • Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program.
Applicants should have the following qualifications and skills:
  • Be able to communicate in English and Vietnamese effectively
  • Good command of computer skills: MSWord and Excel are required
Desired qualification and experience:
  • Background in Finance/Accounting is desirable
  • 01 year of working experience in administrative and/or logistics support is an asset
