Administrative Volunteers

The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is a US non-profit, tax-exempt, private organization established in 1895 that saves wildlife and wild places by understanding critical issues, crafting science-based solutions, and taking conservation actions that benefit nature and humanity. With more than a century of experience, long-term commitments in dozens of landscapes, presence in more than 60 nations, and experience helping to establish over 150 protected areas across the globe, WCS has amassed the biological knowledge, cultural understanding and partnerships to ensure that vibrant, wild places and wildlife thrive alongside local communities. Working with local communities and organizations, that knowledge is applied to address species, habitat and ecosystem management issues critical to improving the quality of life of poor rural people whose livelihoods depend on the direct utilization of natural resources.
Job Summary Under the supervision of the Office Finance & Administrative Officer, the Administrative Volunteers will provide administrative support to WCS Vietnam office operation. Responsibilities
  • Runs front desk, receive and circulate correspondence, incoming phone
  • Supports Procurement & Logistics Officer in updating the contact list of service providers/vendors, procurement trackers
  • Assists Procurement & Logistics Officer in arranging air/ train tickets and accommodation for WCS VN events (delegations, meetings, business trips)
  • Provides assistance to Office Finance & Administration Officer to collect monthly utility usage documents for payment such as telephones, stationery, water, electricity, etc.,
Minimum requirements
  • Students from economics, foreign languages or similar universities (Last year students are preferred).
  • Available 4 hours per day for at least 6 months.
  • Ability to handle multitask, prioritize, attention to details and management efficiently;
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication skills in English Language;
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Ms. Outlook);
  • Concern for wildlife conservation & environmental issues is an asset.
