Biodiversity Project Clerk (UNDP)

📌GENERAL INFORMATION:

• Duty station: Ha Noi, Viet Nam.
• Job Schedule: Full time.
• Required Languages: English and Vietnamese.

📌RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide project planning and implementation support to on-going and future interventions;
• Support in initiating and delivering comprehensive communications and knowledge management activities; and 
• Assist with additional responsibilities for all projects under the Biodiversity Portfolio. 

 📌REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• Secondary education is required.
• Minimum of 3 years (with high school diploma) of relevant experience in communications and/or project implementation support is required

Required skills:

• Experience supporting the implementation of development project/program funded by multilateral/ bilateral donors in environment/ natural resources/ biodiversity conservation.
• Experience supporting the development of proposals/ TORs/ procurement contracts/ M&E documents. 
• Experience in developing communications contents and knowledge management products, preferably within the environmental sector.
• Experience in using social media platforms (e.g. FB, Tik Tok, X) and digital communications tools (e.g. Canva).  

Desired skills:

• A university degree in international relations, environmental studies, environmental management or related field is an asset. 
• Demonstrated ability to work as team member in a multicultural environment is an asset.
• Good command of computers, office software package, and web-based management systems (especially database management) is desired. 
• Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is an asset.
