Plan International Vietnam is looking for potential candidates for the position of Business Development Intern!
Working time & location: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week at Plan International Vietnam office – 106 Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Cau Giay district, Hanoi.
Expected starting date: January 1st, 2020
Allowance: Based on Plan International’s intern policies.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Resource Mobilization:
+ Support the Business Development Unit and its efforts to lead fundraising/proposal development processes
+ Research potential government, foundational, and corporate donors and identify grant opportuni- ties.
+ Develop general sections of grant proposals.
+ Prepare grant proposals to comply with the requirements of donors
+ Develop information material to engage funding partners.
+ Monitor and track proposal and fundraising progress.
- Building Relationships:
+ Mapping of programmatic and geographic focus of institutional and private sector partners
+ Support outreach, networking and development of partnerships with international and national
corporations based in Vietnam.
+ Facilitate the communication between Plan national fundraising offices and field implementation teams.
- Grant Management Support:
+ Support review of contracts and funding agreements and coordinate with relevant departments
+ Support regular grant reporting including editing language, formatting and review of communica- tion products
+ Review project communication and visibility requirements
Requirements:
- Degree: University Degree in related fields
- Experiences:
+ Previous professional experience in the development sector, communications or the private sector
+ Strong experience in writing technical documents prefered
+ Demonstrated experience taking initiative
- Knowledge and skills:
+ Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Vietnamese is an asset.
+ Proactive, creative, analytical, good teamwork
+ High level of computer proficiency. Story-writing/ graphic design skills are an asset.
+ Long-term commitment to the job
