Plan International là tổ chức quốc tế, phi chính phủ, phi lợi nhuận, phi tôn giáo hoạt động tại 75 quốc gia trên thế giới trong lĩnh vực quyền trẻ em, đặc biệt là trẻ em gái với mục đích xóa bỏ đói nghèo và vì sự phát triển toàn diện của các em.
Tại Việt Nam, Plan International bắt đầu hoạt động từ năm 1993. Tính đến nay, chúng tôi đã và đang hỗ trợ cải thiện đời sống cho hơn 200.000 trẻ, các gia đình và cộng đồng trên 90 xã thuộc 9 tỉnh thành trên cả nước. Trong 5 năm tới, từ năm 2021 đến 2025, mục tiêu của Plan International là hỗ trợ cho 2 triệu trẻ em gái tại Viêt Nam được học tập, lãnh đạo, quyết định và phát triển toàn diện.
Specific responsibilities and accountabilities include the following:
- Work with Communications & Influencing Manager to nurture positive and productive partnership with all project partner to ensure its continuity and improvements throughout the project;
- Provide clear guidance on the projects’ activities in all project phase; especially communications activities on social media
- Be responsible for assigned project budget resources and for regular finance monitoring, annual budget revising of respective partners. To ensure that financial and administrative requirements of project are completed in a timely manner following Vietnamese law and regulations as well as Plan’s policies and procedures.
- Develop guidance for partner to prepare annual plan with clear budgets, monthly cash flows and prepare quarterly and annual project progress reports. Collecting data and preparing, submitting quality and timely project reports to the Communications and Influencing Manager and Preventing Gender Based Violence Program Manager and Donors per the project monitoring & evaluation plan;
- Work with Communications & Influencing Manager to be responsible for regular performance review meetings to assess progress; agree on; and communicate any changes in strategy with the key project stakeholders as well as the project’s target audience.
- Be responsible for monitoring the progress in positive changes of target audience’s attitude and behaviours toward the gender norms contributing to the influencing change at national level.
- Work with the Communications & Influencing Manager to develop a system for capturing, documenting and disseminating project experiences, achievements, lesson learnt and best practice to related stakeholders while maintaining project records for accountability purposes;
Qualification
A bachelor degree in Communications, Development or any other relevant qualification.
Experience
- At least 2 years of working experience in communication fields;
- Experience of working in digital communications is a prerequisite;
- Experience in implementing development programs in an urban setting, particular on social issues;
- Experience of working with government partners at provincial and ministerial level is a prerequisite;
- Practical knowledge and skills in designing, developing communications pieces;
- Good understanding of current policy developments on Gender and Child Protection;
- Demonstrated communication skills within a cross-cultural environment.
Knowledge and skills Essential
- Knowledge of policies and issues related to Gender based violence in Vietnam
- Knowledge of evidence based advocacy
- Good interpersonal, influencing, negotiation skills
- Good conceptual and analytical skills
- Ability to solve problem effectively
- Ability to build external relationships and network
- Excellent English oral and written communication
- High level of computer proficiency
- Analysis & results dissemination skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Project planning, monitoring, evaluation
- Good team working skills
