Commercial Trainee

The Danish Economic and Commercial Office in Ho Chi Minh City (DECO) is an integrated part of the Embassy of Denmark in Hanoi.  DECO is located at CENTEC Tower in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. Our office is the local focal point for Danish companies and their Vietnamese partners offering assistance to Danish companies in business activities in Vietnam. Our Trade and Investment advisors assist Danish companies, who benefit from our extensive network among Vietnamese authorities and the business community. The Danish Economic and Commercial Office in HCMC - Embassy of Denmark is looking for a part-time trainee for the Commercial Section with details as follows:
  Scope of work Assist in providing advice and assistance to Danish companies in their export, investment and outsourcing activities in Vietnam through market analyses, supplier searches, match-making, marketing assistance, contacts to local authorities, visit programmes, event organization and other practical assistance. Co-ordinate with other trainees in DECO and the Embassy in Hanoi to make relevant reports; Take care and update the database for DECO and provide admin support to the team when needed.   Qualifications The candidate should be studying the 1st or 2nd year at university (meaning having at least 2 years until graduation) with commercial/business related majors. The candidate must have excellent computer skills and be fluent in written and spoken English and Vietnamese. Candidates with working experience in a similar position are preferred. Being skilful at design, using Photoshop tools or having experience in digital marketing is a plus.   Terms of appointment The successful candidate will start the job as soon as possible.   Salary USD 193 Gross per month. Working 20 hours a week (can be flexibly managed to avoid coincidence with his/her study schedule). The labour contract will expire when the student graduates his/her study at university.
