I. Summary of Duties:

This is the senior administrative support position of the Common Services Program. Under the direction of the Consul, the position provides coordination and administrative services in support of the Common Services Program. Duties include: event coordination, fleet coordination including managing a pool of drivers, protocol and customs work with local authorities, material management, procurement and contracting, assisting with emergency management and security related tasks, and other administrative support as required.

III. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates will initially be screened against the Essential Qualifications relating to education, language* and experience.

Candidates must clearly demonstrate when applying to the position how they meet each of these essential qualifications.

*Language will be assessed further during the process. 

3.1 Education:

Candidates will be required to provide proof of the completion of their education.

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree from a recognized university.

3.2 Language:

  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken.

3.3 Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of employment experience in an office environment and providing administrative support.
  • A minimum of 1 year of employment experience in one of these areas: logistics or event coordination or working closely with local government within the last 5 years.
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external clients.
