COMMUNICATION CONSULTANT Agriterra (www.agriterra.org) is a Dutch agency that aims to professionalize farmers' organizations and cooperatives worldwide, with advice from experts from the Dutch agricultural sector. Agriterra’ s opinion is that strong farmers’ organizations and cooperatives lead to more participation, economic growth and a better distribution of income. Agriterra focus on economic development and work closely together with the Dutch agribusiness. The Green Annamites Project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The Green Annamites project supports the governments and people in Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue provinces to strengthen forest protection and management, biodiversity conservation, improve and create sustainable alternative livelihoods, and improve adaptive capacity of vulnerable communities, especially ethnic minority groups who depend on forests. Under the framework of the cooperation between Green Annamites Project and Agriterra to implement the component "Supporting the establishment and capacity building of cooperatives in income-generating activities in rural areas" in two In Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue provinces”, from July 2018 to September 2020. So far, Agriterra has selected  and supported 18 cooperatives and farmer groups in 5 districts of Quang Nam province: Tien Phuoc, Nong Son, Dong Giang, Nam Giang, Tay Giang and 3 districts of Thua Thien Hue province: A Luoi, Quang Dien and Huong Tra. The main commodities selected by the cooperatives include: planting large timber forests, planting medicinal plants and brocade production. After more than 1 year of implementation, Agriterra has implemented many activities as committed to the Green Annamites project and has achieved quite a lot of results, positive impacts of which there is Bao La Bamboo & Rattan Cooperative specializing in manufacturing and trading of handicraft products from bamboo and rattan. In order to help the cooperative to promote and introduce to a large number of visitors, the cooperative needs to support the development of reports and introductory videos to display in the showroom when tourists and / or groups visit and broadcast on the Thua Thien Hue Television. Agriterra is looking for a consultant to promote the image and activities of Bao La Bamboo & Rattan Cooperative through developing TV and video coverage of the trade village and activities to present in the product showroom.
