About the organization

For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) is a non-profit foundation established in 2014 to contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with emphasis on education, equality, health care and environment.

To achieve this mission, VSF has implemented 05 core programs: (1) School Nutrition Program; (2) Child Protection Program; (3) Young Talents Nurturing Program; (4) Act For Environment Program; (5) Women Development Program.

Apart from the major projects to turn five core programs into reality, VSF also regularly performs activities to promote gender equality, conducts or sponsors charitable and humanitarian activities over the country, such as the program to accompany Government in the fight against COVID-19, the Blood Donation Program “Red Sunday”, “Tet for the poor”, heart surgery for children, civil construction such as building schools for poor students in highland areas, building bridges, etc.

VSF is currently seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position:

• Position title: Communication Officer
• Report to: Communication Manager
• Workplace: Opera Business Center, 60 Ly Thai To, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi
• Type of job: Full -time
• Expected starting date:  September 4th, 2023
• Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension

Main responsibility

• External and internal communication plan of each project: Work closely with the Director, Deputy Director and staff of VSF to identify the external and internal communication needs. And then develop the communication plan, including the budget plan.
• Carry out the external and internal communication plan of each project, as well as monitor, evaluate, and report
• Perform the payment procedure for the communication activities of  each program/project
• In charge of manage the brand image of VSF with all communication products of all projects; ensure compliance with the approved corporate identity program/CIP
• Manage and update information of the projects the VSF’s website,  fanpage, instagram, youtube.
• Assist the Deputy Director in seeking and developing/maintaining relationships with donors and partners
• Conduct tasks as required

Requirement

• Minimum of BA in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English or similar fields
• Preferred have 3 years’ experience in the communication and mass media function
• 2 years’ experience in the same position
• Good communication and writing skills in Vietnamese and English
• Good network with journalists / press and government officers.
• Good in communication, presentation & negotiation
• Ability to handle communication crisis
• Ability to plan and implement communication plan, including online campaign, articles
• Having skills in design (familiar with design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar), film-making, and photography skill
• Proficient in operating social networking sites, website administration, using effective measurement tools.
• Able to travel to project areas on a regular basis
