Communications Intern


 

WWF was one of the first International non-government organizations working in Vietnam. We are looking for a committed, result-driven candidate for the position: Communications Intern

Major functions: Responsible for providing support for the Communications Department of WWF-Viet Nam.

Scope of work:

The intern is expected to:

  • Assist with the development of communications products (water bottle, notebooks, mascots, etc.)
  • Maintain and update internal channels and database (internal sites, internal hard drives, Hive photo database)
  • Support with video and graphic (transcription, translation, subtitle, simple layout)
  • Translate documents from English to Vietnamese and vice versa (reports, press releases, presentations, etc.)
  • Support with the organization of events, workshops, meetings, campaigns, etc.
  • Share WWF news/comms products and WWF-Viet Nam FB/YouTube with their youth networks/channels
  • Administration works
  • Other tasks if required

Key requirements for the role include:

  • Vietnamese nationality
  • Final year or Bachelor degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Media or in other relevant fields
  • Good English-Vietnamese skills (will be tested)
  • Proficiency in MS offices
  • Basic video editing skills (for subtitling) is an asset
  • Basic graphic design skills (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator) is an asset
  • Demonstrates WWF behaviours in ways of working: strive for impact, listen deeply, collaborate openly and innovate fearlessly
  • Passion for environmental works and willing to learn new skills and knowledge
