- Position: Community Support Officer
- Workplace: 60 Thanh Vinh 2, Tho Quang Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang
- Deadline: 30/9/2024.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop plan and budgets to implement project activities relating to the community;
- Organize meetings, workshops, study tours with the participation of the community and local partners.
- Organize workshops and technical training on community livelihood development, expand the market connection chain for agricultural and non-timber forest products, etc;
- Write reports on project results;
- Fulfill other tasks as assigned by GreenViet’s Director or Head of the Research and Project Management Department.
Requirements:
Qualification: Education: University degree or higher Major: Forestry, biology, nature conservation, sustainable development- Experiences:
- At least 2 years of experience working with community support programs and projects.
- Experience in planning and organizing fieldwork, and writing project performance reports.
- Priority is given to candidates who have worked as project coordinator
- Relevant knowledge:
- Basic understanding of biodiversity and wildlife conservation.
- Good knowledge and skills in working with communities and local partners
- Skills:
- Good teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- Basic proficiency in English
- Personal qualities:
- Confident, dynamic;
- Be honest, enthusiastic, and hardworking attitude;
- High sense of responsibility;
- Passion for nature and the environment;
- Have a spirit of learning and creativity
- Health
- Good physical health is required to carry out long-day fieldwork in remote communities.
- No physical disabilities or injuries that may affect mobility.
- Age: from 22 to 40 years old.
