Consultancy for Stakeholders Mapping and Analysis for “Girl ready for the future” Program

1. Organization: Founded in 1937, Plan International (PI) is a development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. We strive for a just world, working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners. To fulfil the promise of the 2030 Global Goals, our 5-year Global Strategy is designed to deliver significant change for girls and boys, putting a special emphasis on gender equality. We see clear links between fulfilling children’s rights, achieving gender equality and ending child poverty. Every girl and boy has the right to be healthy, educated, protected, valued and respected in their own community and beyond. Plan Vietnam Country program goal will focus on “Girls of Vietnam are active drivers of change in realizing their rights “Girls’ rights, our dedication”. With the support from Government of Australia, Girl ready for the future program framework has been developed and considered as one of prioritized intervention areas in coming years. In order to identify appropriate approaches, key interventions for project target groups, influencing and potential project stakeholders, it is necessary to conduct a market scan in project-selected areas.

2. Introduction to the “Girl ready for the future” program of Plan International in Vietnam (PiV)

Goal: disadvantaged youth, especially girls and young women realize their rights to gender sensitive, safe and inclusive education, then are actively engaged in decent work either waged or self-employment.

Expected results and indicators

Children aged of 11 – 15 (preparation stage) are well prepared and able to make decision for their future
Youth aged of 16- 24 (Graduation stage) are ready for decent job opportunities

PIV seeks a consultant team to assist Plan International Vietnam program team to conduct Stakeholders Mapping and Analysis for “Girl ready for the future” program of Plan International Vietnam.

3. The objective is to identify key government, civil society, community based organizations and private sector stakeholders that impacts on youth, especially girl rights and gender equality in general and gain input into PiV’s “Girl ready for the future” program framework.

5. Working location: In Ha Noi and sellected provinces (Hagiang, LaiChau, Quang Binh, Quang tri and Kontum).
