1. Organization: Plan International Vietnam, re-established in 1993, is an international child-centered community development organization working in 73 countries. Plan is working in partnership with local people; organizations and government bodies to help children in Vietnam meet their basic needs as well as expand their opportunities to reach their full potential. 2. Project: The Safer Cities for Girls project in Vietnam started in 2014 and is being implemented in cooperation with the Gender Bureau (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs), University of Transportation and Communication, Transportation Management Operation Center - TRAMOC (Hanoi Department of Transportation), Hanoi Women Union, Dong Anh People Committee, and Institute for Development and community Health – LIGHT. The project works to:

• Increase girls’ safety and access to public spaces
• Increase adolescent girls’ active and meaningful participation in urban development and governance
• Increase autonomous and safe mobility in the city for adolescent girls

Project activities have been implemented in 55 primary and secondary schools and 24 communes in Dong Anh; in 5 districts and with public transportation sector in Hanoi; and advocacy activities with national agencies (Gender Bureau, Children Bureau of MOLISA). By 2018, the project has reached 325,000 girls, 325,000 boys; 8,000 transit staffs and 1,000 government officials 3. Plan International Viet Nam is seeking a qualified consultancy firm/group to lead and complete the final evaluation for this project in close collaboration with Plan in Vietnam staff.
