We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:

Consultant’s responsibilities: 
  • Contact youth from the contact list provided by SC to develop a data collection plan including interview schedule and plans for additional contacts if youth are initially unavailable. A youth must be contacted by texting and/or calling.

  • Collect data on the phone following the data collection plan by using a Kobo tool provided by SC. Please note that one student needs to be called a maximum of 3 times at different moments in the day or different days before the interview was stopped and this case was eliminated;

  • Produce a daily call log of the two activities above:

  1. Summarize the calling process such as youth who were reached and those who were not, time of calling, the number of times, reasons for unsuccessful calls;
  2. During the data collection step, highlighting the data collection process including the numbers of youth in the sample reached and those who were not as well as any issues or problems that arose in the data collection process;
  • Export data from Kobo to an excel file and randomly check 5% - 10% of the database to minimize and to report any error which might occur;

  • Compile all the identified errors into a word file and submit to SC for proper resolution.

Main competencies required

  • Bachelor degree in related areas such as Public Health, Social Science, etc.;

  • At least 2-3 years of proven experiences in conducting survey/evaluation/research, especially collecting quantitative data through questionnaires;

  • Experience of using Kobo or similar tools to collect data is a preferable;

  • High English proficiency in speaking and writing;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Updated creative portfolio including relevant creative development work and qualifications with at least 03 examples of past photo packages

  • Financial proposal including all cost involved. Please note that Save the Children will cover travel cost, accommodation and per diem according to our policy
