Consultant for Label Design and Packaging Solutions for Packaged Rice Services

Agriterra (www.agriterra.org) is a Dutch agency that aims to professionalize farmers' organizations and cooperatives worldwide, with advice from experts from the Dutch agricultural sector. Agriterra’ s opinion is that strong farmers’ organizations and cooperatives lead to more participation, economic growth and a better distribution of income. Agriterra focus on economic development and work closely together with the Dutch agribusiness.

Rach Lop cooperative (RACO) is located in Tan Hung commune, Tieu Can district, Tra Vinh province at Mekong delta region with rice as main commodity. In 2021, RACO has ambitions to add more value into rice value chains by launching packaged rice products (ready for use) by the second quarter of 2021. While the product of RACO is high quality rice namely “ST25” produced under good agricultural production practices, it needs excellent label and packaging to be truly competitive in the market. Agriterra agreed to assist RACO to design and produce excellent labels and packaging solutions for its rice products in the second quarter of 2021.
