Vacancy:
Consultant(s) to provide simultaneous translation from English to Vietnamese and vice verse for 03 online trainings
Location:
Hanoi
1. Objective of the Consultancy:
The objective of this consultancy is to provide simultaneous translation from English to Vietnamese and vice versa for the 03 mentioned trainings. All the three trainings will be conducted via zoom, Microsoft Team, or other applicable applications.
The consultant may apply to provide service for one of the three trainings, or he/she may apply to provide service for all the three trainings.
2. Consultant’s responsibilities:
The selected consultants will provide simultaneous translation (English - Vietnamese and Vietnamese – English), including presentation, plenary discussion and question & answer in the training.
3. Expected output:
Complete translation with high quality in the training.
4. Duration/timeframe:
- Training on Child Participation and Ombudsman in Child Rights. The training will be conducted in three days - on November 11-13, 2020 (4-5 hours per day).
- Training on Advocacy and Communication. This is a two-day training. The tentative date is from 30/11/2020 to 01/12/2020 (2-3 hours per day).
- Refresher Training on Gender. This is a three-day training. The tentative date is 03rd, 10th, and 17th December 2020 (2-3 hours per day).

6. Consultant’s Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. foreign languages, professional translation, etc.
- Proven experience in interpretation in international workshop/ trainings;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills;
- Good understanding of NGO projects, especially child-focused projects; and
- Good understanding of work efficiency, delivery and improvement;
