- Position: Development Trainee (part-time)
- Location: Embassy of Denmark in Hanoi
- Hours of work: Morning shift from 8.30 to 12.30; or Afternoon shift from 13.30 to 17.30 (flexible)
- Working hours: 20 hours/week, half-day shifts from Monday to Friday
- Starting date: August 2023

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
As a Development Trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting the Sector Counsellors and
Project Officers in their daily tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in coordinating project activities with partners in Vietnam, drafting official letters and organizing events, missions and study tours.
- Assisting in handling scholarship applications, scheduling applicant interviews, and maintaining an applicant database.
- Organizing financial documents such as invoices and receipts, and payment requests.
- Filing documents and archives.
- Translating correspondences and short documents.
- Providing practical assistance and completing administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, we expect you to meet the following criteria:
- Preferably a second-year student
- Excellent computer skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Vietnamese
- Skilled communicator and fast learner
- Enthusiastic about working in an international environment
- Availability for 20 hours per week (flexible half-day shifts, Monday to Friday) over time work may be requested during the peak season (end of the year):
Morning: 08:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Afternoon: 01:30 PM – 05:30 PM
Available from August 2023
- The successful candidate shall have to pass security clearance before signing a contract with the Embassy.

- Health insurance and social insurance coverage.
- The labor contract will expire upon the student's graduation. However, a contract extension may be considered if the student continues their study for a higher degree and wishes to maintain their employment at the Embassy.
