Job title: DONOR RELATIONS MANAGER

Christina Noble Children’s Foundation (CNCF) in Vietnam is now looking for the Donor Relations Manager for Marketing and Communications Department. The Donor Relations Manager’s primary responsibility is to proactively manage all aspects of donor relations to ensure a donors experience of working with CNCF is of an international standard. The role includes seeking new funding opportunies in Vietnam and overseas and writing effective, coherent, and compelling proposals for projects and programmes through the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation.

This role must utilise knowledge of fundraising methods and plans to reach financial goals. To work alongside the Head of Marketing and Communications/Business Development to ensure CNCF’s sustainability and development by nurturing and developing relations with corporate and individual funding partners in Vietnam and across the Globe to support CNCF operations in both Mongolia and Vietnam.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain positive relationships with existing donors and building new partnerships, corporate donors and individual philanthropists through face to face meetings, email and other written communications.
  • Develop and action a sustainable business development plan along with budget to be monitored regularly.
  • Identify relevant local and global and government funding opportunities, collate information from relevant Project Managers and manage the writing and submission of final applications.
  • Support CNCF Global Grants team with collating and providing required documentation from the operations for their submissions.
  • Ensure any CNCF partnership deliverables are provided at an international standard, on time and in line with CNCF’s vision, mission and values.
  • Create partnership concepts and able to write down clearly and coherently. Ensure familiarity with CNCF’s projects and programmes, goals, and overall financial needs.
  • Cultivate and sustain partnerships with key stakeholder groups to ensure success of grant related projects.
  • Assist in developing new donor relationships through in person events, marketing campaigns and individual meetings.
  • Maintain accurate data and files related to business development.
  • Assist with other fundraising projects as requested.
  • Pitch to prospective local and international partners/donors, may be required to travel.
  • Research latest local and global news, trends and identify opportunities for securing funding.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written both in English and Vietnamese.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to plan, implement and balance multiple constituents.
  • Interpersonal skills with exemplary attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of fundraising techniques and strategies.
  • Proficient in measuring and reaching financial goals.
  • Ability to understand and execute complex instructions.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once, and to tight timelines.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated diplomacy, cultural competence and flexibility.
