About GNI
Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 5 provinces: Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh city. We focus on education, water & sanitation, and income generation sectors in different areas of Vietnam.

Key working relationships
- Internal: Country Director, General Director, Managers/ Team Managers/ Officers in HO, PMs, Project Officers
- External: GNI’s Donors, Partners, Governmental. Officials, INGOs, Communities.
Main duties
Manage and coordinate activities in the field of social work and psychological counseling in schools (40%)- Develop the plan and develop this field according to the orientation of GNI and the general plan of the Child Protection and Education team;
- Connecting resources, coordinating with partners to implement related activities/projects;
- Coordinating activities related to this field in the project areas of GNI.
- Depending on the candidate's expertise, experience and ability, GNI may assign one of the following programs:
- Reading Culture Development Program
- Children's Capacity Development Program
- Projects related to children's capacity development, global citizenship...
- Coordinating and developing one of the above programs/projects in GNI's project areas according to the orientation and plan of the Education and Child Protection group;
- Coordinate with staff of the Education and Child Protection team, Operation Division or other divisions in joint activities or activities that require coordination and support.
- Other jobs assigned by Team Manager.
Qualifications required
Education: University graduate or higher in relevant majors (education, psychology, social work).Work experience
- Minimum 1 year of similar role
- Good experience and skills in managing projects related to Education and Child Protection
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in counseling psychology and social work.
- Able to work under high pressure.
- Ability to evaluate, analyze and solve problems well; individual work management and team collaboration.
- Have creative, innovative thinking and willingness to challenge; good ability in project management.
- Able to effectively use English in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Sociable, responsive
- Committed working with GNI at least 2 years.
- Enthusiastic in work
- Truthful and accountable
