ASSIST Asia is a self-sustaining Pan-Asian NGO with its HQ in the Philippines and a footprint across South and Southeast Asia. ASSIST Creative Lab (ACL) is a strategic unit under ASSIST, and it strives to address the communication, visibility, and knowledge management needs of its development stakeholders. We believe the communication and visibility needs of the development sector are not just a function of creativity but, more importantly, of context, and ACL has the position to offer this unique value proposition to its stakeholders.

ACL’s capability and portfolio span across communications research and knowledge management, including e-learning, campaigns and advocacy, creative design, event activation and management, digital marketing, and branding. About the Role

We are looking for experienced e-Learning development professionals who have a good grasp on working with Adobe content authoring tools such as Storyline 360 and Rise and graphic design tools such as Photoshop. This role of an eLearning developer requires the candidates to work in a team with other co-developers, where they will be expected to collaborate with their peers towards developing interactive eLearning, managing uploads on the LMS, and performing peer reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze instructions, in the form of a storyboard or prototype, from the Instructional Designer and accurately
  • Convert them into eLearning modules and/or videos (SCORM-based).
  • Perform edits to graphics (static and dynamic) with good knowledge on Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Expert in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate to create dynamic and interactive eLearning content and assessments
  • Must be able to develop complex branching scenarios, highly gamified and user engaging learning assets on Articulate storyline 360 as the primary tool
  • Use audio software such as Adobe Audition or Audacity to record, edit, and refine audio for the eLearning module
  • Use MS Office software (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and Acrobat Reader for project documentation
  • Create, test and manage courses in a Learning Management System
  • Test and modify eLearning content and LMS settings to ensure compatibility
  • Responsible for giving accurate effort estimations before the projects
  • Review and edit work per testing phase
  • Collaborate with other members of the development team and provide productive feedback to peers
  • Plan and build high-quality, engaging eLearning experiences using graphic design, imagery, animations, interactivity and sound
  • Create or edit provided screen recordings, such as software demonstrations
  • Must be in-line with fast and dynamic development standards as per industry’s benchmarks

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience creating eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Captivate, Elucidat, Adapt or any other authoring tool
  • Prior experience working with any development sector organization or project is must
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese is mandatory
  • Must be willing to adjust work schedule when needed
  • Skills in audio and video editing as well as experience using screen recording tools such as Adobe
  • Applications (Premier Pro)
  • High level understanding and working knowledge of the functioning of Learning Management Systems
  • Experience working in an educational/corporate training environment
  • Understanding of technology enabled learning, educational theory and Instructional Design
