English Teacher Job Responsibilities

Provide Introductory and Intermediate Basic English language instruction and tutoring utilizing the proven STREETS curriculum

· Focus on ‘Hospitality’ and ‘Culinary” English with an emphasis on guest service, presentation skills and kitchen conversation · Develop daily lesson plans using the STREETS structured approach and curriculum · Conduct regular testing and provide weekly reports on participants’ progress · Work closely with the STREETS hospitality, culinary and tour team to ensure the individual success of each participant · Monitor and supervise the computer lab, including weekly Trainee’s registration, on-site computer lab usage supervision, maintenance follow-up and record · Assist with translating for other instructors and guest speakers as needed · Conduct all activities with professional and mature demeanor, dress and attitude Qualifications · B.A. in English (preference given for international study experience) · Excellent written and spoken English

Experience teaching and translating English to youth or adults. Will consider those with little or no prior teaching experience, if otherwise qualified, and will train. (will be tested in interview process)
Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (all will be tested in interview process)
