Position statement
The English teacher is a member of the Training Department and is responsible for guiding and managing a group of assigned trainees. They are also responsible for developing and delivering tailored lessons to trainees at all levels, ensuring that teaching is conducted as scheduled, including academic management (meetings with volunteers, tutoring, and advanced training). Additionally, the English teacher is responsible for collecting and reporting accurate and detailed records of trainee progress and study outcomes, as well as maintaining classroom rules and regulations. They should also encourage and guide students to successfully follow KOTO values and learning goals.
Responsibilities
Conduct full-time English teaching, including lecture preparation, teaching, tutoring, facilitating discussions, practice sessions, marking, and assessments.
Detailed requirements
- Understand and align with the goals set by the Training Manager.
- Develop the curriculum, create teaching resources, and deliver lessons according to the curriculum, employing flexible teaching methods, experience-sharing, role-play, and maximizing interaction with foreign volunteers/foreigners.
- Assess learning outcomes after each module, provide regular feedback on the foreign language learning process, and report progress to the head of the department/training department.
- Occasionally visit trainees\' workplaces to observe and evaluate their performance and provide additional training if necessary.
- Collaborate closely with volunteers and assist them in the classroom.
- Offer additional support to trainees who have not yet reached an acceptable level.
- Review and provide feedback on volunteer performance to the Training Manager.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Training Manager.
Qualifications / Experience
- Degree in English Language Teaching from a recognized College/University
- Proven expertise in the field of English teaching
- Preferably holds an International English Certificate of IELTS 7.0 or higher (or equivalent)
- Preferably possesses TESOL or CELTA certificates

Working conditions and benefits
- Work Hours: Your standard work schedule will be from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, primarily at KOTO Training Centre in Phat Tich, Tien Du, Bac Ninh.
