We are looking for committed, result-driven candidate for the position of Field Coordinator, “Saving the Saola from the brink of extinction” project, based in Hue, Quang Tri or Quang Binh
Major Functions:
The Field Coordinator, under the direction of the Project Manager and in close collaboration with project implementing partners, coordinates and supervises project field activities. S/he takes role as WWF Vietnam focal point in the project sites to support the daily coordination of all field activities implemented by different teams. The role works in close cooperation with the Project Manager, The Data Management Senior Officer, Wildlife Practice Technical Advisor, project staff, implementing partners as well as responsible authorities in the project provinces.
Required Qualifications
- University graduate in forestry, natural resources management or conservation management, or in relevant fields;
- Proven experience in project field coordination in Vietnam;
- More than 5-year working experience in the field of wildlife conservation or biodiversity conservation in Vietnam;
- Identifies and aligns with the core values of the WWF organization: Courage, Collaboration, Respect & Integrity;
- Demonstrates WWF behaviors in ways of working: strive for impact, listen deeply, collaborate openly and innovate fearlessly
- Adheres to WWF’s values, which are: Knowledgeable, Optimistic, Determined and Engaging
