Field Officer (ENV)

ENV is looking for a field officer who will conduct field activities and related assignments and be responsible for collecting and analyzing information and data on wildlife crimes and violations in support of ENV’s independent and partnered/sponsored projects. This position will be based in Hanoi but will require frequent travel to different areas around Hanoi and other locations in Vietnam.

📌RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and executing research and inspection missions of wildlife farms and wildlife-violated establishments, including interviewing farm/shop owners and their staff, locals, and others to learn about wildlife trading/possessing situations in targeted areas.
Collecting and processing information and data gathered from the research/inspection progress
Recording, documenting, and managing the tracking of all research/inspection cases
Producing quality English reports on research/inspection results

📌JOB REQUIREMENT

University degree required
Quality professional English writing skills
Intermediate speaking English and above
Intermediate interviewing/survey skills
Enjoy traveling and working in the field
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and pay close attention to details
