Responsibilities
Provide daily support in all project activities
- Support to organise trainings/meetings/events/field work activities/study tours with project team and local stakeholders
- Support for the procurement of input materials/devices for farming models
- Work closely with farmers, farmer groups and local partners, especially supporting farmer groups/farmers for the implementation of sustainable peanut and shrimp production models
- Takes photos and videos for the project.
Other tasks
- Support Project Manager and Field Coordinator on data collection and filing (hard and soft copies)
- Attend project and Agri-Food Sector meetings and events
- Other tasks as required by the Project Manager or Sector Leader
Qualifications
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in aquaculture, agriculture, environment or another relevant degree
- At least two years of work experience. Practical knowledge on extensive shrimp production is an advantage
- Is familiar and experienced working in Tra Vinh and/or the project areas
- Experience organizing trainings/meetings/events is desired
- Experience supporting women’s economic empowerment and social inclusion is an added advantage
Skills
- Proficiency in using common office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email)
- Good communication skills to interact and collaborate with farmers, local authorities and other stakeholders.
- Having English skills is an advantage.
