Finance Consultant (02 Positions) (Save the Children)

At present, Vietnam Country Office has programs in 20 out of 63 provinces in Vietnam.

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:

Main Responsibilities:

  • To check and review payment and expenses occurring at CO level;
  • To check and review partners financial report and advance;
  • To conduct finance visits to partners;
  • To allocate expenses from Prepayment account and meeting/training package costs;
  • To support the follow up on balance sheet account for any outstanding items;
  • To support the preparation of Monthly Financial Report, Monthly Control Checklist and monthly report on payment for expatriate which will have to be sent to the Regional Office;
  • To support on the provision of all needed documents for the purpose of tax authority review;
  • To support the preparation of Finance training package;
  • To issue PIT receipt and Income letter for staff and consultants;
  • To ensure filing of accounting documents to be done every day.

Consultant’s Qualifications:

  • University degree – Finance and Accounting
  • At least of 3- 5 years of relevant working experience for a foreign company, preferably with an INGO
  • Good spoken and written English language skills
  • Good command of computer software: Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Demonstrated experience in verification of payment, expenses
  • Demonstrated experience in financial accounting report
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team
  • Good time management skills

Expected outputs:

  • Payment/expense documents is verified carefully with right coding.
  • Partners financial reports and advance is reviewed in due time and with good quality
  • Month end cost allocation is done in due time;
  • MFR, MCC is prepared in due time;
  • Balance sheet is kept on track;
  • PIT receipt and Income letter are issue on time;
  • Accounting documents are classified and carefully filed.
