Financial Reporting, Analysis and Monitoring Internship

For every child, hope The Division for Financial and Administrative Management (DFAM) is divided into five Sections that carry out accounting and financial reporting, facilities management and administration, budgeting, cash and treasury management, and divisional coordination, liaison and management activities. DFAM/FRAM is primarily responsible for preparation of IPSAS financial statements as well as for oversight of accounting performed by offices worldwide. The following are the key functions of the internship:

Manage yammer postings on the mAsset project and support other communications in relation to the project under the supervision of Chief, Financial Reporting; and Financial Reporting Manager.
Assist the Financial Reporting Unit in the design/development of mAsset training material for the global roll-out of the mAsset app to UNICEF offices particularly in relation to the presentations of the material with substance provided by the project team;
Support the Financial Reporting Unit in review and improvement of the presentation of existing guidance on the mAsset app;
Assist the preparation of UNICEF offices for the roll-out of the mAsset app.
Provide support for/perform other tasks as identified by the supervisor.

Be enrolled in a programme at the Masters level, preferably in Communication, Training and Development, Project Management or Business Administration
The knowledge of authoring software/tool that is used to create eLearning content such as demonstrations, software simulations, and quizzes such is considered an asset
Managing resources - Organizes and manages information to achieve defined goals and optimum results
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (French or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
