Fundraising Officer

GreenViet is seeking a Fundraising Officer for “the Vietnam Wildlife Conservation Fund” project as below:

I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

1.  Job Title: Fundraising Officer

2.  Department: The Development Department

3.  Address: 60 Thanh Vinh 2, Tho Quang, Son Tra, Da Nang

4.  Report: Director, Head of Development Department, Project Coordinator 

5. Description:

The main task of this position is to find, develop and diversify fundraising channels from businesses, communities, and individuals. Besides, this position connects and develops cooperation projects with corporations, sponsors, local social organizations to enhance activities of nature conservation and sustainable environmental protection in Da Nang city and other provinces in the central of Vietnam.

II. REQUIREMENTS

2.1 Education: university degree

2.2 Major: Environment, Business Administration, Economics, etc

2.3 Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, fund management for social or non-profit activities;
• Successful fundraising experience of at least VND 500 million for previous projects/events/programs;
• Work with CSR funds of corporations for at least 3 years.

2.4 Knowledge:

• Understand the operation of CSR funds of enterprises;
• Understand the regulations of the Vietnam Government on fundraising;
• Basic knowledge about Vietnam's natural resources, biodiversity, wildlife in Vietnam.
• Knowledge of strategy development, planning, reporting, and evaluation of fundraising programs.
• Understand media audiences, messages, social media channels to support fundraising.
• Understand how to set up and manage fundraising channels via social networks, mobile money, etc.

2.5 Skills:

• Fundraising skills and developing many different fundraising channels with many partners;
• Fluency in English
• Persuade partners through conversation, presentation

2.6 Other requirements:

III. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage networks of partners and sponsors

- Develop monthly and quarterly fundraising plans based on GreenViet's fundraising strategy

- Carry out fundraising campaigns

- Approach potential sponsors and partners to conduct fundraising activities or other cooperation in nature conservation activities

- Develop GreenViet's existing online fundraising channels, find and develop other fundraising platforms

- Support in writing proposals to raise funds through conservation projects of GreenViet

Report on implementation results

- Perform other duties as requested by the Head of Department and Board of Directors
