Gentle Fund Organisation (GFO)

Founded in August 2006, Gentle Fund Organization (GFO) is the first non-profit organization of the Vietnamese community registered in Singapore and granted operating license in Vietnam by its Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Organizational Affairs. GFO aims to provide long-term educational support for under-privileged children in Vietnam as well as provide social and informational support to Vietnamese patients receiving medical treatment in Singapore. With more than 500 registered members (by end of 2010), GFO is non-political, non-religious and does not discriminate against any race, nationality, gender, age or occupation.
