We invite passionate and highly motivated Vietnamese applicants for the position of Grants and Reports Officer, working in our Hanoi centre. A detailed job description can be found.

Job Purpose To enable Blue Dragon to end human trafficking and ensure the safety of all street children by securing stable funding from grants donors. The Communications and Fundraising team ensures the success of Blue Dragon’s work through fundraising, awareness raising, communications and marketing, and by maintaining our excellent reputation with donors, sponsors and the wider community. Key Objectives ● Uphold Blue Dragon’s mission and values. ● Identify and develop professional relationships with grants donors who can support Blue Dragon’s work. ● Develop high quality grant proposals and reports for major individual and institutional donors. ● Support programs and the leadership team with management of program spending. ● Support program staff to monitor their activities for the purposes of grants development, donor reporting and institutional learning. Main responsibilities This position works within the Grants team to identify funding opportunities; prepare proposals and reports in collaboration with program staff; and to assist staff in the monitoring of program implementation. The specific responsibilities will be negotiated with the Communications and Fundraising Manager and the Resources and Partnerships Leader, and will include: Grant and report management ● Strengthen existing systems for managing and reporting program knowledge, particularly related to grants, in collaboration with Program Managers and the Resources and Partnerships Leader. ● In liaison with the Founder and Co-CEO, the Communications and Fundraising Manager, and the Resources and Partnerships Leader, actively search for and identify potential new grant opportunities that align with Blue Dragon’s values and objectives. ● Draft grant proposals in collaboration with Program Managers and Program staff. ● Monitor and track outstanding grant applications and update internal databases. ● Support Programs to ensure effective monitoring of grant implementation according to relevant requirements and documents. Communications and learning ● Collect and provide information to the Communications and Fundraising Team, CEO, Resources and Partnerships Leader, and other relevant staff about program activities including data, photographs, reports, case studies and data. Ensure effective and private storage of grants data and information. ● Identify and share key learnings and impacts from Program activities internally and with grants donors and other external partners. ● Identify and monitor gaps in program funding and share this information to the Communications and Fundraising Team as required. Support ● The Grants and Report Writer supports: a) The Communications and Fundraising team in identifying funding gaps and ensuring fundraising targets are met, through providing accurate, useful information and data; b) All programs, the co-CEOs, the Communications and Fundraising Manager, and the Resources and Partnerships Leader in coordinating grants and reporting activities, information and data across programs; and c) The Communications team and the MEL Coordinator in providing relevant impact information including statistics, case studies, stories, and other documentation. ● The Grants and Report Writer is supported by the Resources and Partnerships Leader, the Communications and Fundraising Manager as well as the co-CEOs. Essential skills and experience ● A demonstrated commitment to Blue Dragon’s values. ● Excellent verbal and written English skills. ● A willingness to grow and learn. ● Experience or qualifications in Fundraising, Communications, ideally in grant writing, reporting or donor relations, or a related field. ● Strong interest in working online, particularly through email, as well as an ability to meet people, host visitors, and present in person. ● Highly organised, flexible in working times, and able to work in a demanding, fastpaced environment. ● Able to work both in a team and independently, set priorities, plan and complete work accurately and to deadline. ● Excellent interpersonal skills and communication ability. ● Strong computer skills, including MS Office package and databases.
