Humanity & Inclusion (HI)

Humanity & Inclusion is an independent and impartial aid organisation working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. The organisation works alongside people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, taking action and bearing witness in order to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.

Advocacy

HI also mobilises its advocacy expertise, in order to influence and improve public policy:

• Advocacy
• Campaigns mobilising public opinion
• Testimony, whistleblowing and condemnation of violations
• Development and international aid and development education
• Direct approaches to decision-making bodies (lobbying)
• Participation in institutional representative bodies
• Promote and improve regulatory and legal frameworks, as well as relevant legal instruments to further human rights, international humanitarian law, and disarmament
