Khan Academy Vietnam Initiative Internship Initiative overview The Vietnam Foundation recently signed an exclusive collaborative agreement with Khan Academy. Over the next few months, we will be working to translate Khan Academy’s robust and proven curriculum, which has previously been funded by the Gates Foundation and Google, into Vietnamese with the purpose of increasing education access throughout the country and integrating Vietnam into the global learning community. Through this partnership, the Vietnam Foundation will bring this scalable and cost effective teaching method to all children in Vietnam that will impact Vietnam’s education for decades to come. We are looking to select a few talented and self-motivated Vietnamese high school/ college students to join our program as part-time interns. Official certificate from Khan Academy Vietnam
In-person meeting(s) with our Founder, Mr. Kien Pham (see the Wikipedia page about him here)
Coaching sessions every 2 weeks with food provided. The focus of coaching sessions will be professional skills, career orientation, soft skills, etc.
The most high-performance interns will be awarded every 2 weeks and might be considered for paid positions.

Responsibilities This is an unpaid, part-time internship (12-15 hours a week). This role’s responsibilities include:

Adapting Khan Academy’s educational videos to the Vietnamese context
Promoting educational content to local schools
Reviewing materials to ensure quality content
Attending a weekly in-person meeting in HCMC to discuss progress

Qualifications Applicants should have:

Strong academic performance
Fluency in academic Vietnamese and English
Willingness to learn
Minimum 3-month commitment
