With expertise in science, health, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales solutions—including vaccines, drugs, devices, diagnostics, and innovative approaches to strengthening health systems worldwide.
Working in Vietnam since the early 1980s, PATH established a permanent office in Hanoi in 1997, and an office in Ho Chi Minh City in 2014.
The Vietnam country office is committed to responding to a broad range of community health needs in Vietnam. This includes vaccine preventable diseases, infectious diseases, noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), global health security, with cross-cutting focus areas in digital health, health systems strengthening, and environmental health and climate change.
PATH is working closely with the General Department of Preventive Medicine/MOH to implement the “Transforming the Noncommunicable Disease Response” project with the following objectives:

Enable data-driven decision-making to prioritize investments and coordinate execution of national NCD strategies across stakeholders targeted to the needs of people living with NCDs.

Strengthen PHC systems to deliver high-quality NCD services and commodities where needed
-
Strengthen supply chain capacity to improve access to and affordability of NCD medicines and products
-
Create enabling policy environments through strong political leadership, technical guidance, and supportive tools.
The internship will work under the management of Senior Program Assistant.

Brief description of required skills/experience the intern should possess:

Knowledge in Graphic Design
-
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other graphic design software
-
Creativity and understanding of design, layout, color, type, imagery and typography and composition
-
Strong visual design skills
-
Familiar with customizing social media channels
-
Good photography and videography skills is a plus
-
Able to communicate in English
-
Final year student or bachelor degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia are preferable
Skills to be developed and/or expanded during internship:

Communication skills
-
Teamwork spirit and high sense of responsibility
Proposed activities:
-
Create easy to understand charts, graphs, and diagrams for slides, web, social media, and performance media. Use graphic design to illustrate technical knowledge.

Design communication products including (but not limited to) leaflets, posters, standees, PPT presentation templates, visuals, presentations, handbooks, Facebook ads
