Job Title: IT Consultant

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam

Type of Contract: Part time

Length of Contract: Twelve month rolling contract.

Report to: Office Manager

Location: This position is based in Hanoi

Job Summary:

The IT Consultant maintains the computer networks of all types of Orbis Vietnam, providing technical support necessary for the smooth running of the office in compliance with Orbis’s Global IT Policy. The position monitors and maintains Orbis\'s computer systems, installs, and configures hardware and software, and solves technical issues as they arise.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and PBX telephone system;
• Monitoring and maintaining computer, telephone systems and networks;
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests either in person or over the phone;
• Collaborating with team members across departments to assist them with their technical requirements;
• Coordinating with HQ IT to support the implementation of new solutions or applications
• Setting up accounts for new users;
• Making plan of repairing and replacing equipment as necessary;
• Periodically cleaning the computers, printers and server;
• Possibly training for new joining staff;
• Other relevant tasks assigned from time to time by Line Manager.

Overview

1. Employee: Max 15 (fifteen)

2. Computer: Max 15 (fifteen)

3. Printer: 5 (five) including 1 (one) multi-functional Ricoh printer

4. Server: 1 (one) which can be decommissioned after files migrated to SharePoint.

5. PBX Telephone System: Panasonic KX-TES824

6. Internet: Leased line provided by FPT

7. Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10

Required Skills and Experience

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information System, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Experience working with international organizations or multinational corporations is preferred
• Working knowledge and expertise with variety of software, hardware and applications
• Fluency in Vietnamese and English both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively under time constraints
• Honest and mature with good analytical skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Dynamic, solution-oriented and customer-oriented mindset.

Budget and Payment

• For independent consultant: The consultant is paid a daily rate which does not exceed 5 working days per month. Payment will be made at beginning of each month after consultant submits approved work report, timesheet and invoice.
• For service supplier: The offered package which is selected by a committee will be paid after the supplier submits approved work report and valid red invoice.

Instruction for Application Submission

For independent consultant: A resume, motivation letter and copy of certificates are required.

For service supplier: Company profile with list of customers, a copy of business registration certificate, resume and certificates of the employee assigned to support and proposal with service price quoted in Vietnam Dongs and on monthly basis. Recommendation letters from current clients would be an advantage.
